Enclosed transport
Most popular for exoticsA covered trailer that shields your car from weather, road debris, and prying eyes — the right call for most exotics, supercars, and collector cars. Higher cargo insurance limits usually come with it.
Chicago · Tampa · Los Angeles · Nationwide
The same care we give our own fleet on every cross-country move, applied to yours — enclosed and open transport by vetted, insured carriers, coordinated door-to-door from our Chicago, Tampa, and Los Angeles hubs.
What we move
We coordinate the carrier, the equipment, and the insurance so your car travels the way it should. Every move is quoted individually — tell us the car and the route and we'll tell you honestly what it takes.
A covered trailer that shields your car from weather, road debris, and prying eyes — the right call for most exotics, supercars, and collector cars. Higher cargo insurance limits usually come with it.
The standard exposed multi-car carrier most cars ship on — lower cost when enclosed isn't required. We'll tell you honestly when open is fine for your vehicle and when it isn't.
How it works
Tell us the car (and any lowering or aero mods), whether it runs and drives, the pickup and delivery locations, your dates, and enclosed vs. open. We come back with a tailored, no-obligation quote.
We assign a DOT/FMCSA-registered, insured carrier suited to your car — the right equipment, the right lane — instead of handing you to a call center. Home hubs in Chicago, Tampa, and LA mean more capacity on those routes.
We coordinate pickup and keep you posted through transit to a door-to-door delivery — including dealerships, auctions, private addresses, and event or track locations.

Hydraulic liftgates and soft straps for lowered, aero-heavy cars — no steep ramps.
A dedicated, not-shared trailer for high-value and one-of-a-kind cars.
Active cargo coverage verified before load; declared-value confirmed for very high-value cars.

Transport FAQ
Open transport carries your car on an exposed multi-car trailer — the standard, lower-cost option most cars ship on. Enclosed transport encloses the car in a covered trailer, protecting it from weather, road debris, and prying eyes, and typically costs meaningfully more. For most exotics, supercars, and collector cars, enclosed is the right call.
For a high-value, low, or rare car, most owners think so. Enclosed transport shields the paint and undercarriage from rocks and weather, keeps the car private, and usually comes with higher cargo insurance limits. If the car is easily replaceable and you're on a tight budget, open transport may be fine — we'll give you an honest recommendation for your specific vehicle.
There's no flat rate — price depends on distance, enclosed vs. open, whether you want a single-car (not shared) trailer, ground clearance and liftgate needs, declared value, season, and route demand. Because every high-value move is different, we quote per job rather than publishing a number. Tell us the car, the route, and your dates and we'll send a tailored quote.
As a rough guide, short moves under about 500 miles usually take 1–2 days, and cross-country runs take about 5–9 days, since carriers cover roughly 300–500 miles a day. Enclosed transport can add a few days to scheduling because there are fewer enclosed carriers. We'll give you a realistic window for your route when we quote.
We coordinate transport rather than own a fleet of trucks: we match your car to vetted, DOT/FMCSA-registered, insured carriers and manage the job end to end. Because we run a luxury and exotic rental operation, we know these cars and pick carriers accordingly — liftgate, soft straps, single-car trailers — instead of handing you off to a call center.
For low, lowered, or aero-heavy cars we arrange carriers equipped with hydraulic liftgates (no steep ramps) and soft nylon straps instead of chains, and we can specify a single-car or dedicated trailer. Tell your coordinator the car's ground clearance and any modifications up front so we match the right equipment.
Yes. We verify that each carrier we assign carries active cargo coverage appropriate to your car's value before it's loaded, and enclosed carriers typically carry higher limits than open haulers. For very high-value cars we'll confirm declared-value coverage as part of the quote.
Yes. We're door-to-door nationwide, and Chicago, Tampa, and Los Angeles are our home hubs, so we tend to have more carrier capacity and faster scheduling on those lanes — including seasonal Chicago ↔ Florida moves. During the snowbird rush (southbound in October/November, northbound in March/April), book earlier, since enclosed capacity tightens quickly.
